Tomorrow's World to return...

Used to love tomorrow's world . I knew Raymond Baxter was a spitfire pilot , what a Hero ,also motor racing commentator .would love this to succeed  not like the gadget show though, never been a fan of that .

Raymond Baxter could tell you pigs could fly, and in the day we’d believe him. The show during his time had some credibility

Balding geek? Wasn’t that James Burke? Baxter had a full head of hair.
Definitely James Burke. He is still broadcasting.
Still haven't got my flying car, and they never saw mobile phones coming...
Cheers, Dave

I watched it -

Same here - unimpressed, they could have done so much more....

A shame in a way, but from a personal POV I'm glad - I forgot it was on!

I thought the original prog was interesting and exciting in its day - it’s resurrection however was like watching a pot of paint skinning over !

It was obvious while watching that it was one of the more budget-constrained pieces of programming - wouldn't surprise me if, adjusted for inflation, it was cheaper to make than one of the original episodes...
