Probably of more interest to the older members but Tomorrow's World is coming back for a one-off show on 22 Nov (BBC 4)

Did you ever see "Look Around You" on the beeb? It was a pisstake of Tomorrows World in the 70s.

Peter Serafinovic is great

Used to watch it as a kid in the early 70s I can't remember the balding geeky guys name. I'm unsure it would have the same impact today as back then when technology had more of novelty wow factor.

Balding geek? Wasn’t that James Burke? Baxter had a full head of hair.

Oh hang on I think you might be right, as Rob is the same age as me what else can I say

Tim.

No hope for us old farts then.

Wonder if they'll use similar opening title sequence with the original jazzy theme tune? Used to love that.

Raymond Baxter... remember him commentating (knowledgably) on motorsport. And the Farnborough airshow etc.
And didn't he present the Top Gear forerunner - Wheelbase?

Judith Haan used to irritate me for some reason as I remember. I think fhe smugness was part of it.
