Hi Everyone,

So tomorrow I'm heading down to look at a few cars from various websites, fingers crossed I'll come back with a nice shiny sterling silver Z4! :)

Obviously I'm only going for what look like decent runners, full service history, 1 owner, receipts galore ect.

Is there any typical faults, common issues or sounds I should look out for on Z4's? (Roof leaking points, window regulators ect)

The cars I'm looking at have around 60k-70k miles on the clock.

Bayley - have a look at the link in my signature which links to a pre purchase buys check list. :thumbsup:
 
A few common things to check are:-

Rear springs, Some people drive hundreds of miles without knowing they have snapped.

Engine strut brace linkage, at the bulkhead. Check the welds.

Check the roof action is smooth. No creaks as it's moving.

Pretty reliable cars on the whole. :thumbsup:

Have a search.
 
Listen to your head, not your heart and you remember you dont have to buy the first one...
