Sorry guys just got back in Doncaster roadworks were a nightmare on the M62 ad the rain was torrential. Be home in an hour or so then I'll upload the pics :D

I have to say I am smitten. What a beauty!!

How was the pick-up? did they look after you?

Looking at the thread title, regarding the pictures, I think tomorrow might be the day!

Why are we waiting, we are suffocating....

Still, I'm glad you picked it up ok and are pleased with it, nothing like the feeling of a new car!

Right here we go then. Please excuse the pics. Theyre not great as unforunately they couldnt hand the car over in the showroom. I will be taking the car to a much nicer location over the weekend when its all clean for some better photos but I hope these will feed your needs until then :P

Sorry its taken so long to get them up.

The weather was lovely on collection which was nice but the rain took hold around saddleworth moor on the M62. The rain was bouncing. At least I can say the roof doesnt leak..

Few pics taken on the journey home but to be fair it doesnt look half as bad on the pics

Hope you like, sorry for the amount of pics. I got a little excited.

Here's a little video of my first drive :)

I am very impressed with everything. Its so smooth compared to my old car and it feels in a different league. Definately more cruiser than out and out sports car but I actually like it. Am I getting old before my time? :?

Car has just clocked up over 100 miles and I averaged 31MPG on the run home which I think is great for a new tight engine.

Let me know what you all think :D

Car looks great JDM and its great to see someone really chuffed with their new toy, happy days :driving: Postive comments about the E89 sounding a bit more grown up or dare I say a bit better bolted togeather! Does make my E85 seem a little dated, anyway lovely motor with a great colour combo

I have to say that the interior is absolutely stunning, nicest i have seen, great choice and congratulations

Nice car bold choice on leather colour but looks great I should of got something other than resale black lol

A fine looking car. A very unique colour combo that looks great 8-)

Looks the mutz nutts - love the interior shots, looks more saddle tan than walnut to me but it does look gorgeous - great that the sun was out for the handover :-)

Well chuffed for you.

Fantastic - I think the ceremonial whip-off-stubby-on before even driving it off is a great touch

Looks lovely, and SWMBO looks chuffed too... though the second picture of her behind the wheel made me laugh as she looks teeeeeeny

It is gorgeous, not jealous at all, glad you are not disappointed in any way !

Looks great, congrats!!!

BTW, am I right in thinking they do an option for the iPhone 4 instead of the garmin?

Aww thanks for all the kind comments people. I'm really chuffed with it. It even smells gorgeous.

They are not producing this spectre as it does not confirm with uk regulations as it can display a moving picture apparently such as YouTube etc. To be honest the garmin one is amazing its through the speakers, voice commands speed camera detections, change in speed limit alerts and photographic image displays at junctions and slip roads. It's a very neat installation :)

That looks the mutts nuts...love the combo, I wanted either white (Same colour as wife's last car) Red or the yellow, but wifey wanted the DSB, it is her car really :kissass: Monday to Friday and all mine at weekends :driving: Can't believe I will hand my F10 over to the wife that's how special this car is...

We originally had the walnut on order with the DSB but I couldn't live with that I don't think the two go well together IMO so changed to the beige...However the white and the walnut looks fantastic very classy combo you must be well chuffed.

So the handover was nothing special then? What was their excuse for the lack of inside delivery? Saying that I am impressed with the first picture of Rod Stewart 8) waiting for your arrival :P they really did push the boat out those folks at Halliwel Jones.

Couldn't get the video to work, anyone else had a problem?

Enjoy it and get some more pics up as soon as you have them. A week on Monday for my collection could have, should have, had it today :(

I didn't know you could specify that...is that in the configurator? Is it aftermarket or dealer supplied? I have a Navigon SatNav knocking about somewhere with a 5 or 7 inch screen can't remember which. Can you just specify the cabling and bracket for your own Nav?

Sounds better than the main BMW nav system which doesn't have speed camera detection, or photo imagery :?

You know it made sense going back to a roadster
