Tomorrow is the day... Hopefully!

27...! no your joking... :poke:

Absolute class it realy looks the business...bet you can't measure your grin at the moment :D

Looks class mate! I noticed you put the stubby on straight away! Which one did you go for? How do you rate the professional sound?!

That's a gorgeous motor - what a way to receive it

The plate is brilliant too, totally makes it yours from mile zero 8)

I went for one that cost me 7 quid off eBay. It looks as if it fits with no problems. The professional system is nothing short of amazing. I put on Knife Party - Internet friends which has a variety of different sound pitches and noises to see how well the system performed. Truly amazing and pitch perfect. You will love it if you got it!

Very nice -- Good choice on the number plate too.

Let us know how you get on with the hills. We are doing alright so far, but have been lucky with the traffic.

AAGH thats exactly what mine should look like...if I ever get it lol.
Havn't heard anything from the dealer since I ordered on 25th feb mmmnn...

How does it compare to a 1 series?

Lower to the floor, not exactly subtle and to be honest, I have been breaking the Z4 in gently. The cabin just oozes class and luxury. The equipment is unreal and if you have the professional equipment you will not be disappointed at all!

The car in the promotional material looks great but then you see it in the flesh. You notice the lines that little bit more. The wheels are perfect on it in my opinion. I am really glad I went for the 18s.

In terms of performance, as I say, early days but I need to watch my right foot as the speed goes up easily.

Dealer got the car coded so that I hold down open on the key fob so that the top would come down. Unfortunately, it doesn't come back up if I press lock.

You can not measure the grin on my face!

looks mint. must remember to get a free polo shirt when i pick up mine from glasgow

stubby looks cool, have you got a link for the ebay item?

Here is a link to the stubby in the pics

Can you try radio for me? I know you're in a different area to me, but would you say reception was as good as the 1'er?

Wasn't fussed about the stubby, but seeing your handover pictures the original looks really long!

I would say it was fine actually! Not exactly bad and just normal. I am in the city centre though!

Cheers Keith, it was daft question really :) I'm used to driving something low as the Z3 is the daily driver at the mo :) what I did notice against the 1er was road noise seemed too filter into the cabin more on the Z4 which I think was down to the 19s on the demo I drove, nothing serious but more noticeable on coarser tarmac. I was really split between the 18s and 19's but played safe and stuck with the 18s especially with the runflats although prefer the look of the 19s. What really struck me was the quality of the interior, well the 1er I thought was OKish but after the Z4 felt a little low rent.

Big plus for me is going from a diesel and the extra poke over the 118d :D

Kevin, BMW do their own stubby sports aerial which looks good and have it on the Z3, only prob is its about 20 notes compared to a couple of quid off e-bay.

Owww Man .... that is an awesome car mate !!

Loving it, also grats on the plate too.

Spectacular car, cannot fault it

I'm jealous dispite mine arriving next week hehe

:driving:

I'm very jealous. I pick up a 2007 3.0si sport Friday, for £50 a month extra I could have jumped on the 2.0 finance wagon, nevermind.

Grey looking car and really hope you enjoy it.

Any interior pictures?
