hi.
was thinking of emailing tom tom and asking them to do a map update that will allow the sat nav to warn us of all the bloody pot holes that are now a big part of our oh so lovely british roads. lol

my dad has just had to buy 3 new tyres and a new alloy for his mercedes CLK 320 which he is not happy about, i feel like im pissed when driving around the surrey/west sussex area due to the stupid amount of pot holes!!!! :thumbsdown:

If you've got one that supports map corrections you can use it to tell you to divert around specific roads by marking the road with the potholes as 'blocked' or no entry.

Although if you do that for all the roads with potholes, you'll probably find you'll be stuck on your drive.

You think that's bad, my bos took delivery of his Jaguar XF-R just before christmas, and with just 2000 miles on it has had to replace all four alloys as they have buckled.

He has been cautious with the pot holes, but as you know it's impossible to miss them all and with 20" 285 tyres/wheels it hasnt taken long.

Jaguars response of course has been the same as BMW's with the cracked rims, all in all blood poor
