Hello

The time has come to part with my Z4..

I have proudly owned the car for 5 years but after recently becoming a dad it has meant I am not using my pride and joy as much as I’d like to therefore, I reluctantly need to let it go to a new home.

I bought the Z4 in July 2019 from the 6th Owner the car has had in its 20 years. In the 5 years iv owned the car I have looked after it very well, I have done the following –

I had bespoke leather dash / trim made for the car which goes lovely with the black leather seats

The car came with electric M Sports seats (not heated), I added an M Sport steering wheel and M Sport gear knob both in great condition.

I replaced the rear arches and front bumper for second hand ones in the same Toledo blue

I added freshly refurbished BMW Ellipsoid alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot sports, the tyres are slightly perishing and were an advisory on recent MOT. The wheels have 15mm and 20mm spacers fitted too

In the past 1000 miles it’s had new discs and pads all round and new callipers on the front (fitted by myself so no invoice)

I bought a Toledo blue hard top which comes with genuine BMW bag and a purpose made trolly / stand to safely store it on.
The roof motor was repositioned into the boot and serviced, the roof operates perfectly.

I replaced the run flat tyres for normal tyres to improve the drive, I bought a genuine BMW space saver and jack to go in the boot incase of puncture.

It’s had a few other bits of maintenance carried out over my ownership such as bushes, arms etc as and when my mechanic recommended it.

Machine Monkey exhaust tips

Panel air filter

USB socket in ash try

Stubby aerial

Genuine BMW mudguards which I fitted brand new to replace the damaged originals

I can include a few spares such as the original steering wheel, fog lamps, original aluminium interior trims, original kidney grills, spare driver’s side door glass (original is scratched) and a few other bits.

The car itself runs and drives very well. The straight 6, 3L engine is healthy and pulls brilliantly. The cars service book has 14 service stamps and a whole heap of invoices and MOT certs, I’ve had the car serviced yearly despite only doing around a few hundred miles a year.

The millage is at 98,200 miles

The body work is fairly decent for its age with the odd scratch, scuff and dent here and there. it is a 20 year old car..

I unfortunately only have 1 key and the valet key, iv never got around to getting another key cut.

It Passed its MOT on the 17th June 2024 with a few advisors - slight oil leak (doesn't drip onto driveway), corroded brake pipes and as mentioned perishing tyres

It was also serviced on the 17th despite only have done around 100 miles since the last one.

The car is a 54 plate (private plate not included) KT54UMK is the original plate

Im looking for £6000 with the hardtop. I am not in a real rush to sell it and id rather sell the car with the hardtop.

The car is located in Chippenham Wiltshire, Junction 17 M4. It will be ready for sale once its been valeted (booked in on the 29th) and providing the V5 is back from taking private plate off from the 30th June

Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Thanks
Arthur

I’ve been on many an outing with Arthur and this car, and I can vouch that it’s an excellent example. He’s put a lot of time and effort in over the years, keeping it all in good order, including garage storing the car too.

Well worth a look if you’re in the market for a Zed.

Thanks mate, and thanks for your help looking after the car by looking after the roof motor with the relocation and service for me.
