Toe out-anyone tried it.

I did a basic check of cars front toe.
Length of wood with brackets screwed on, long enough i can touch each tyre front and back.
Done all sorts over the years, parallel strings, etc.
Even a free 4 point check said not far off, allowing me to tweak it.
For years rubbish steering, unstable.

So last few weeks been going toe out.
Trial and error based on feel and stability, the way car tracks and handles bumps.
Car feels great at the moment, best ever.
I'm sure now the wheels are toe out, never tried before.
Anyone gone toe out?
Vagueness at neutral steering has gone.

Toe out normally results in excessive twitchiness and a tendency to turn in quickly..

Almost all road cars go with a minor degree of toe in both front and rear..

At one stage I had quite a bit of toe out on the rear and it was a very unpleasant feeling..
