Changed my clutch.

What an arsehole of a job, the exhaust bolts were not bolts but solid pieces of metal, much oxyacetylene and swearing later, some new exhaust gaskets, bolts, and retaining brackets the exhaust was back to functional.

With that conquered, new gear oil as a matter of course and aligning the new clutch, all went well.

Remarkly long job if done properly and giving it the patience it deserved, but on the bright side, it now drives superbly!

Getting ready to go out to a black tie do on Friday, I lost a lump off a front tooth! Fortunately a lower front. The gap feels like the Grand Canyon and its sharp.

Didn't laugh or smile until the red wine kicked in. Won't smile when I get my dentists bill either!

Researched smart repairers after some loon damaged my bumper/wing . Seems to be about £200 to fix according to first 2 quotes. Waiting for autorestore to get back to me then will pick one....

Today I also rekindled my love for the zed, gave it a proper wash and headed out with the mrs. My god I'd forgotten how fun the car could be!

Went to the shops today and decided to go for a sneaky 25min mini hoon on the way home - ended up stuck behind a convoy of cars behind a tractor and then another behind a lost lorry driver. Gave up in disgust :lol:
