today i...

(Well yesterday actually) Drove 750 miles from Antibes to Calais and felt smug about how pain free it was with my newly fitted cruise control :driving:

.... am celebrating 6 years with my good lady :D

Congratulations

I celebrated 13 with mine last week... Surely the tinkle of bells is getting louder in your world :D

...had my rear wheel refurbed then did a tour of the labour ward at Lewisham Hospital, before lunch at the Cutty Sark pub in Greenwich to discuss how f**king scary the whole prospect suddenly is!

T-minus two weeks today and counting

Good luck Inkey$. I used to work in Lewisham about five years ago...I'm happy to say that their maternity services were better than the rest of the hospital (don't go to A&E or have an orthopaedic op!)

Congrats Adamski and Bing

Thanks fella  They seemed great today so I'll focus on that and try to ensure I don't dislocate or break anything in the meantime (again!) :D

When it's actually happening and you have to wash your hands with the really slippery soap they use, make sure you rinse it all off before you dry your hands, and don't dry them with the paper towels over the bin... I didn't and did, and right when Wee Bing started to emerge I had "where's your wedding ring ??!!" screamed at me - not great :D

Thats what i call a successful start to the day!! :)

Fitted some new alloys onto my Corsa and tightened the handbrake - the last two jobs I had on my to-do list before it was ready to sell. Managed to get a set of these second hand in near mint condition for £100:
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_784407_langId_-1_categoryId_165649

MOT and service next month then start to look for a buyer. Will be sad as it's my first car & I've had it for 3 years since I was 17, but looking forward to my Z4 and sure once I get behind the wheel I'll have forgotten all about it :D

Nice - hopefully you are also delighted that it's the last time you will buy any wheels/parts/badges that originate from Halfords too :D

Haha - indeed. I was going to refurb the original SXI wheels that are on it (painted black, few scuffs etc) but was offered those wheels in near mint conditon for the same price as the refurb so thought why not :)

Coincidentally if anyone has any need/want for a set of black 15" sxi wheels give me a shout, they'll only end up in the back of the shed doing nothing otherwise.
