Ahhh fair enough, I don't have that problem anymore although I must admit to missing my old roadster last week when it was an oven in my car! I assume it must be a fairly easy hassle free job installing/removing the hardtop then to be doing it quite often with this unpredictable British weather?!

I like to keep my ragtop pristine

So do I and I've found mine covered in what looks like cat hair but isn't. On closer inspection it's some kind of seeds! I hope the moggies on other threads haven't been blamed when innocent (apart from those caught on camera!)
I know you love your car mate, but seeds on your roof! :D

One of the many reasons I got rid of mine! There was a particular tree at work that seemed to malt 365 days of the year so looked like cat hair and would spend many an unhappy hour hoovering my roof, getting strange looks from neighbours walking past obviously thinking I was a bit OCD and special hoovering the outside of my car!!

No Trees nearby. I'm a bit mystified if truth be told. I suppose these things travel long distances though, and there is a wood about half a mile away....

IIRC, you have a pully hangy thingy so it's pretty easy to get it on and off, right ? Still, extreme condemnation of British summer though :D

Yes, I bought the BMW hardtop lift - a tad pricey but it allows me to remove the roof in minutes by myself.
