Not good! Hope you're ok Mark

Yeah, I'm fine - forgot to claim for whiplash ;) car isn't too bad just needs to go in for a check and repair for a hole (number plate screw on car behind).

Person who hit the first car and caused the concertina is a friend of the wife's :D - luckily its a company car and a straight forward claim.

Was more interested in getting to the airport once the car was checked over!

... let my wife take the Z

She has had 5 low speed but damaging shunts against parked cars, walls and bollards in the last 2 years :o

It's going to be a very long day anticipating a phone call.

This is becoming a worrying trend on here of late :o

... received my gap tech module and my Mangowalk stubby. The zed is being pampered at the moment.

Tomorrow I have my MOT, so will wait until after that to fit my gap tech.

The joy of one-touch open never abates...!

... I fitted my strut brace and treated the zed to a set of NGK Iridium spark plugs. Mine's being pampered too

...carried on where I left off yesterday...

and yesterday I carried on where I left off Monday eve...

Since Monday...

Wash, Dry, Clay (5 Hrs!!) Wax, Wax, Sealer polish, dressed tyres, cleaned all glass, and nearly got some feeling back into my right hand...

Needs some Poorboys wheel sealant, but those bolts were too much!

Now all it needs is driving! :driving:

...replaced both rear brake discs, changed the pads and painted the calipers. I also discovered while under there that the car has had a new set of rear springs in the not too distant past, which was nice :)

Changed my headlights for aftermarket clear lenses, and I love them, it makes such a difference to how wide the front of the car looks.

I bought these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150766137...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_3084wt_1378

I could only have managed this due to the excellent write ups about removing the front bumper and how to change the lights.

Although the headlight units came with angel Eyes, I decided not to wire them in as they are very dull and I preferred to go for a more original look.

There are a couple of things I thought I would add, the lights I bought came with the levelling motors in already, so the interior light adjustment switch raises and lowers the light beam and they self level.

What they don't come with is the silver ring in the corner of the headlight unit, so you need to use the silver sleeves from the original lights, and I had to make the holes slightly bigger so the silver sleeves were more easily adjustable.

I love the look of the lights, so thank you to everyone who has contributed write ups in the past.

Now I have done it, I would be more than happy to help any other members change theirs, it took me about 1 1/2 hours, but now it would be about 40 minutes.
