I love my garage :sweetheart:

I looked out, checked the weather report, decided to do the roof (Renovo treatment). Got the stuff together, stepped outside, it started raining. B*gger. Note to self - must get that garage built soon!

I'd love to, but SWMBO is a little vexed I have been out there since 9am :P

And now I want to drive it :driving:

If it keeps raining I shall pop my beading photo virginity

Today I had to abandon my planned drive... rain :(

Still, SWMBO has decided to take me shopping instead. Can't wait :(

Washed the car, then attempted to hide the keying it got last year by applying go faster stripes! Lol. Black stripes on black car. Not as successful as I hoped as the vinyl must be printed with black ink, meaning that I now have a continuous very thin uniform white line from front to back. It's still better than the harsh scratch that was visible even after rub down, prime and touch up attempts.

-Any decent pics mate?

...finally DITCHED. MY. RUNFLATS!

4x new Falken 452s, £480 all in, half an hour, sat and had a coffee in Nero opposite, watching the guy as he stripped my Zed down.

Difference really is fantastic. Really fantastic. Drove all the way to parents with Mrs Psy - A3 has never felt so smooth. I think even she noticed the difference (though she would never admit to it ;) )

Transported the Bridgestones back to mine from the tyre shop in two runs (one in rear, one on passenger seat, wrapped in bin bags).

Fronts are pretty good ~5mm left.
One rear is ~3mm, other is ~4mm.

Will be selling them both on here and eBay shortly.

Si

I fitted angel eyes, and dropped off the zed for a full respray (excluding boot lid and bonnet)! This is starting to get expensive........bloody z4 forum!

Dropped the top, squeezed the right pedal and smiled. Then, with top retracts, repeated the pedal squeezing...mmmmm sounds fantastic :D

... the red mist decended... & drove, er, a llittle over enthusiastically (am sure some I passed at warp may have used some other choice words as I rattled their fillings to the bone)

Today I have washed car, Cleaned the soft top and applied Renovo Black renovator, Clayed the entire car, and so far got half of it Polished, My back has told me to stop just now, Off work tomorrow so intend to complete polishing and Waxing then wash clay and wax the wheels.
God my back aches.

Today I raised the beam height on my Xenons. Can't wait to take her out for a drive tonight to check out the difference. It's easy to see up against a wall, but I'm hoping to see the difference in night time conditions :)

Spot of OCD there mate. Your car was gleaming less than 2 weeks ago, looked like it had just been detailed. Now you're at it again. Good man

That's what I call commitment :)

Lol it was while washing it last time I noticed it was in severe need of a claying.
But yeah definatly some OCD in there as well

... today I looked outside at all the rain & said the Zed is staying put... & also sold the Polo this morning on EBay (pity the 108's didn't go)

.... looked outside, admired the beading from yesterday's wash & wax, and stayed indoors as its started to snow. Looking like a non-car day today!
