Not today but over the weekend. I finished off our drive way well almost! (still need to do a few tip runs to get rid of some junk) So Saturday i started at 9.00 and was working until 23.30!! Pointing all the gaps in the bricks actually used a tone of sand!! All mixed by hand in my trusty wheel barrow. Then yesterday was a bit easier brushing off and tidying up the pointing brought some plants and some stepping stones and 2 gargoyles (not to everyone's taste)... But they are just a bit of fun we have a school at the end of our road so i am sure it will amuse some kids.

got pulled over for speeding in my ///M, ended up having a long friendly chat with police officer who let me go on my way without points


Edit.... at the time of incident i was merrily blasting away from a black z4-roadster.... I'm blame you for appearing in my rear view mirror!!

I drove to Dunstable to pick up a supposedly mint 1 Series Coupe M Sport, only to find it not so mint and with an 8inch crack in the screen. It was an 8 hour around trip, what kind of person knowing how far we've got to come decides not to mention this? You'd have thought they would get the screen fixed on a £13k car.
So 400 miles later and were off to Wales later in the week to check out another.

Horizon Motors is the company, he stocks a lot of BMW's, I'd avoid. They generally don't give a f**k.

I got a letter re my travel insurance saying as I have to have some medical tests in September, I'm more or less not insured for anything during my holiday in Germany in the zed during August - and nor will they pay up if I cancel the holiday!

I'm still going and will have to rely on my EH1c card!

I pay the insurance monthly, so can you guess what I'm going to do when we get home in September ???

Read through the handbook after a bulb warning light came on at the end of the North East meet. It's the dip beam near side - I'd better change it for next weekend's run. Picked one up from Halfords (there were about 6 different H7 bulb choices ranging from £6.99 to £20 ? ) Went for mid price £12 and headed home.

2 hours later. . . . .

Decided to take the wheel off to clearly see what's happening, started to clean the hatch cover, then the other panel, then the back of the light unit, sod to get back on (how would you do this with the wheel in place?! ). Might as well clean the wheel whilst it's off. Oh yes, I'll clean and feed the seats whilst I'm out here, why not try that new carnauba wax? So had to wash the car and dry it - on with the wax (it was a little too warm and sunny for this so it was hard work). Those other wheels could do with a clean.

What time is it Steph. . . . . .
