jaRED, no feeling like it. We go away for almost three weeks soon, and I am already excited about driving the car when I get back, just because I know how good it will feel....

And shortly after there's Skye to look forward too. Can't wait

Drove the car 360 miles whilst Mike told me each and every time someone was 'checking out' the car. Seems it gets a lot of attention.

I only noticed one guy in an Audi and couldn't miss him as I was stopped and he was on a moving lane and just stopped right alongside and started looking it all over. All rather strange. I've renamed the M1 the Mad 1. It's bonkers!

I have taken the day off again to play with the Zed....think that's at least 6 Fridays on the trot

Am having the front bushes changed to make it as wonderful as possible for my pride and joy to be enjoyed by a new owner (whoever that may be :-))

Yesterday really ,
Had a good run up tho the Borders with sun and 28 degrees.
Not a lot of traffic was a big bonus.

...taught wee bing how to cut a hedge

...refitted my BMC air filter all nice and clean

...and will shortly be hoovering and cleaning my car ready for tomorrow 8)

Though I think it's about to rain

.....did 2 laps of Alton water on my bike (approx 18.5 miles). Came back and cleaned it instead of the Z for a change.

Went for swim, down at Sharrow point. :D

Home for breakfast.

Dropped my son in town, to pick up his car. Then took the long way home, accross Dartmoor. :driving: :D

Used g3 cutting compound etc to remover two blemeshes from the front passenger wing and Bonnet (bird poo stain and then what looked like Brillo pad marks) followed by a polish and some wax on the panels in question, also booked tickets to see dawn of the apes tonight :)

...discovered that with sufficient velocity & aggression I can wheelspin in 2nd gear too :driving:

got pulled over for speeding in my ///M, ended up having a long friendly chat with police officer who let me go on my way without points :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:

Edit.... at the time of incident i was merrily blasting away from a black z4-roadster.... I'm blame you for appearing in my rear view mirror!!

Lucky Beedub, very lucky. If it was a traffic cop (white hat) then you should do the lotto as you would have better odds of winning that than being let off a speeding ticket from them.

But today, I hope to be going for a paddle on a local loch. Ah the joys of 2mph.
