I have been cutting grass for silage today in the glorious sunshine.

Looks like a great way to spend a day  Hope you watched the sun go down with a big glass of scrumpy :D

Can't get the ///M out of the garage because Swmbo's A Class's battery is kaput and parked in front, waiting on a phone call from my friends garage to collect a new one :headbang:

Flew back in from Rome, to watch tilers completing the new garage roof - love this GSI, much better than DIY :)

Washed the zed, drove the zed, smacked the front lip of bumper and under carriage on the way back. Doh

Then took my other toy out, slogged miles away from home all up hill cross country, to discover I had a flat with no repair kit on me when I was ready for the downhill, the only bit I enjoy. 5 mile jog back beating sunset with the bike.

Still beats work I guess.

I haven't Ben out on my bike for so long :( i have a beaut of a speciaized pitch in the shead.

I know 100% 5 miles of slogging for ten minutes of adrenalin. I spent 2 weeks in Les Gets ski lifts rock

MM, exactly the same. Really is THE only bit I enjoy, and I'm not even that good. They've got lifts up at ben nevis too, haven't done the downhill there though as i was a bit young when I last went and had a hard tail specialized. If i ever get my arse to a meet then we'll have to see about getting your specialized back out again. Bit south/west of you but going to try out some recommended trails near Swindon and some tame trails near Marlborough soon which are both a bit of a drive for me too.

Spent a good few hours working on rugby session plans for my coaching qualification, still confused :dizzy: Got confirmation that my old employer will be honouring their promise to pay the balance of my bonus for last year, phew  Got another interview lined up for next week  Spoke to one of the most useless recruitment consultants on the planet  Washed the Z in preparation for a polish and wax first thing in the morning 8)

Not a bad day all in all...

...ordered a replacement front suspension reinforcement plate from eBay. Not exciting, and I don't have a ramp so I have no idea how to get it on the car. But I wanted it :P

That's how "Oooh, shiny" starts :D

You can't even see it unless you get on the floor and look under the car

However the existing one is battered and deserves replaced - it has bugged me since I got the car. Only cost £34 - I think they're about £150 new.

Forgot - also received this today. However. The fittings look quite serious and I am now worried that I will have to do some major dismantling under the car to replace the old one and fit it. I guess the clue was in the words 'suspension reinforcement' :headbang:

Mostly finished welding up a double decker bike my brothers and I have conjured up!

Pedalled by 4 on the bottom level and steered by one at the top!

Frame is all ally, used the rear and front ends off my old CBR 600!

Side shots with one of my brothers at the top!
