Today I ...

picked it up from John clark where it had its inspection II after i'd clayed polished it and waxed it this week.... i asked them not to wash it when it was in and when i arrived it had a big sign on it saying DO NOT WASH which made me laugh !

bloke at the service desk said ... it is very clean which made me smile.

Then drove home in the dark with the roof down ace...
 
today i fitted my outside tap, so tomorrow i need to buy an hose pipe -cleaning cars will be so much easier from this day forward
 
Had a call to say I could pick her up tomorrow morning!
Yea! No more Yaris courtesy car!!

Installed a Sirius satellite radio setup in my Z3 and bought a new radar detector.....and shoveled a foot of snow off the driveway.

I've been using buckets since December when the pipe and the hose pipe both burst.

You've either found a space where two others have badly parked leaving a big gap in the middle, or indeed that shopping centre has created some decent sized parking spaces which I find hard to believe, but looking at the picture I can't tell if the space is larger than normal ?
 
in this situation i would park with passenger doors closer together, passengers can get in after you pull out, this gives you more space to open the drivers door

It's just the antenna, power wiring and the windscreen mount for my Sirius Sportster sat radio. I have the built in sat radio in my E89 and I have the sportster in my truck, but had nought in the z3, the sportster just plugs into the dock and it can be moved anywhere it can plug into a dock, so I don't have to pay for "another" radio fee. Two is enough...so now I unplug the unit from the dock in the truck and pop it in the z3 dock and all is right in the world....

(nothing serious, tucking wires under trim and trying to not break things) Next week. ....... World Hunger
 
Tried again to clean the roof let the cleaner dwell agitate let it dwell agitate rinse more cleaner let it dwell agitate and so on all to no avail :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :headbang: :headbang: it could be time to sell if things don't get better :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: this would be a very painfull thing to have to do as i had to save very very hard to buy my Z three years ago being on a low income but i just hate looking at my roof in this state its not horrific but not up to my standards.

The last resort could be a professional machine clean on the roof have seen videos on line of this its just finding somewhere with a good rep.

Nursing a hangover which is getting better with a few beers :D
