Today I ...

Washed, put on Blitz, put Gummi on the rubbers and cleaned the interior. Looks great, but up close she badly needs a good polish/detail. Thinking seriously of getting a professional out. A guy with a good reputation does it on site for €260 for the day. Would be handy since I work from home.

I've borrowed a friends DA machine polisher today and bought a pad and cutting paste. Had a quick demo and going to have a proper go at it during the Easter break.

I smacked mine into a wall whilst parking because I had underestimated the length of the bonnet! I dont know why they have parking sensors on the back, I need them for the front more.

Luckily it was only a gentle touch but it did make me look like a twat and it did have to happen in front of all my mates :headbang:

Collected my new strut brace Saturday fitted it soon as I got home.....Out sunday to see any improvements and yes it feels a lot better on the RF's no squirming under braking and the tramlining is better.....Very pleased....Oh had some lunch with my GF and then visited my parents got home about 7pm....Great day :driving:

The ZED sailed thru MOT today , so it had another wash , then its first polish of the year , now its roof down and off for a blast..............love it!!!!! :driving:

Darkman, what did you get??

Dropped my rocket ship off at the garage this evening...
Roof hasn't been finishing the close-cycle properly, car is under warranty so they were fine to look at it.

As dealer is a family friend, he promised me a 'like for like' courtesy car - he's bought 10 porches in the last fortnight...

I get to his (house, rather than garage) - 'I've got this for you until the weekend'...

And behind it was an 02-reg Yaris.

Bah. He'd just collected it so couldn't get me anything fun. Never mind. Won't be using it in the week anyway....

New Barracuda wheels delivered today. 8x19 front and 9x19 rear. Spent the afternoon waxing them ready for tyres, 235/35 front and 265/30 rear and four wheel allignment tomorrow. Roll on the weekend!
If the weather is good hope to get some pics as promised. (Car has been laid up for winter so no newbie pics posted yet, sorry)
