Today I ...

cleaned the AG roof protector off the windscreen and windows (whoops :oops: was a bit over zealous last weekend) then fitted new windscreen wipers (bosch aero blades)
 
Drove to Brands Hatch to shoot bikes great day out now home drinking editing pics and some sounds :D

Spotted two Zs Blue Coupe from a distance and a Grey Roadster parked near me.
 
I was driven in mine by the other half as not driving ATM myself - still good to be out and about with the roof down!

Then watched rugby.
 
Fitted one touch + remote roof module then headed over to local bmw dealer to look at a X5...saw a m roadster as well in the used car lot very very tempted.
 
Working nightshift last night , planned to get up at 10 am ,got up at 3pm, fell out with 'her' so washed the car. had some AG roof cleaner ,so washed the roof , no protector left , so thats my job for tomorrow protector on the roof .
Passed its MOT yesterday, so suprised the springs were OK , think ill check them .
 
Had a quite one, just fitted some new UV lights and doors - doing the ICE wiring tomorrow

now those doors would defo help me get in and out when parked in my single garage !!! :D
 
I took mine to the seaside in the sunbshine,( Brighton),did some shopping,had chips and an icecream on the seafront,then drove home.About 300 miles in all.Clayed & polished it last week.It's now dirty again. :D
 
Upgraded the foot well and rear speakers and added door speakers. For £63 it sounds pretty dam good.

Washed it a secondtime, ready to clay/polish/wax it. However after a phone call, a mate (through another forum) has offered to show me how to use a DA machine polisher to do a 'proper' job. So I'm going to try that out next weekend.

Tried out my stubby. Main radio stations are fine, one that used to be dodgy signals in certain areas are now noticeably worse. See how I go. :wink:
 
Spent 2 hours in football traffic trying to get to my GF's house.
Arrived in a particularly cross mood:
  • 2 hrs to do 20 min journey
  • Took lump out of rear left alloy lip trying to take a short cut
  • Lowered roof when I KNEW I'd stupidly dumped the wind deflector into the 'parcel shelf' bit - roof now not finishing close cycle properly...

Bah.

However, driving Sunday evening on empty roads...

Cleaned and protected the Z's roof. Yep, that's right, I said it. I protected the roof.

Let the debate begin all over again! :)
