old Skool Club Classics

Listening to these really hits home how old I am compared to the missus (even though she's 27 and I'm 32, it seems like a massive difference.
I was out clubbing, getting smashed, and doing all the things 18yr olds did in the 90's, to these 'toons, whilst she in her first year at secondary school!

1979!

Remember it very well. Never a fan of the band but always admired Vini Reillys guitar style.
Read that he had some health issues last year and couldn't even afford to pay rent on his flat. Some fans raised some cash to help him out.

Top tune though "Sketch For A Summer".

I went to see these guys when they were called "Ashtray Heart" and were performing in bars in and around Cambridge..
Then saw their first concert as a signed band at the Cambridge corn exchange.
They were a major influence in my GCSE/A level music progression, and the first band I was part of covered these, Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies.

You could say I quite like(d) them

I heard this for the first time yesterday on my way to work.

For those of us with superior sound systems in our Z4's this sounded really good.

It's from the soundtrack to the new DreamWorks animated movie 'Home' that's due out on the 27th of March.

I remember buying the first album on the strength of Nancy Boy.
Wouldn't say I'm a fan but have liked some of their stuff.
