To the untrained eye

I had a bit of scrap vinyl, so decided to have a go at my badges, done the bonnet, boot and side indicators, wheels need new ones so will get them ready done.

To the untrained eye they look ok, I can live with them.

Pic of indicators.

I have had very good luck cutting circles in vinyl and tape
I use a drafting quality set of dividers (the compass you never use cause there are points at both ends).
You can carefully 'cut' the material with several gentle passes of the dividers.
If a pin hole in the middle is not to your liking, I use one of those peel and stick rubber protective "feet" that typically protect table tops from being scratched or sometimes straighten delinquent pictures hanging cockeyed on the wall.

They look great to me. Also solves the problem of how to find a full set, including side indicators, which was a problem when I was considering going to black badges.

Nice job

Was it necessary to remove the badges? Or was it just for ease?

It was bloody cold to keep going outside so I took the indicators off and cut a template indoors. Just had to stick the boot one outside
I did the front one a few months back.

How to..
stick a piece of masking tape on the badge and mark with a pen.
Cut masking tape and stick on vinyl, cut round outside of masking tape and there you have the right shape vinyl to stick over the blue bit on the badge.
