I think brighter colours look better on darker cars... While on lighter cars/ silvers i would go black.

Agreed, saw an AM Vantage ('55 plate) today in a gun metal grey sort of colour, with yellow brake calipers... very nice indeed.

I can see yellow possibly working with the Bronze but I'd probably go with something to match the interior colour perhaps.

I had a good sunday morning playing with a trolley jack, cleaning wheels, and clearing soft top drains.... 8)

And the bottom line is that the standard calipers are quite tasty as standard, (bloody enormous fronts...) and as i cannot really clean them now, i certainly wont be able to maintain painted ones!! And further, i cannot see any other colour suiting a Sepang roadster. Subtle is rather pointless/wasted here i feel!

I did notice that my discs are quite worn, maybe a 2mm ridge on the outside edge and the pads are quite low also. Think ill save the money from caliper paint, and put it to the rather more substantial bill for new discs and pads all round. When i get a free weekend, i may ask you guys where to get the best price for new pads and discs and fit them myself. DIY, quite enjoy getting dirty with the zed!

I've just bought and fitted Mtec discs and mintex pads all round. They cost me £180 and it took a weekend to fit using online guides. They look good and have good reviews. I painted calipers satin chrome at the same time using radiator paint, and really was very easy.

Good skills sionowz, ill be following your lead in the next month or so.

Where did you buy the discs and pads?

Any skinned knuckles?

A couple  Main problem was every single bolt was seized! The little allen screws holding disc to hub were a nightmare!! Make sure you have a breaker bar, 17mm impact socket, wd40, freeze spray and a mallet! :D

The discs/pads are on ebay
