To grease or not to grease

I am re-building a set of calipers and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on wether to grease the seals/piston etc.

Or just use brake fluid for assembly. I know silicon grease is a no no, so what would you guys use????

Red rubber grease for brakes if you can get it.
Use it in the grooves behind where the seals go and it stops corrosion from building up.

You can get 'rubber grease' that is compatible with various grades of DOT fluid but I was always taught to use a little brake fluid only and that was the instructions with the last rebuild kit I had. But I am an old ferret

+1 for a little red grease behind the piston seals as this is where corrosion can get hold-pushing the seal out of its groove & making it bind onto the piston to hard=seizing brakes

Cheers for the info....I was always told just to use brake fluid too. But i have found and purchased some red Rubber Grease....
