Titanium Silver MR with Flash Chrome 224s

Time to premiere these.... as normal meets cost you money and i loved the look of sammyz ones at the National, and mine were due a refurb pretty pleased with the results- done by the Wheel Specialist in Aberdeen (twice but thats another story)

just edited 1st post- was the wheel specialist in Aberdeen , required a copy of Toms Photo from the national for them to believe flash chrome would work on 224s and two attempts but pleased with the finish in the end

I thought Sammyz's were shadow chrome? Either way, they look great

long story - in the end from tom's photo they concluded that their nearest finish was flash chrome after an earlier attempt which ended up just being gunmetal .

like all these things finish will depend on the sprayer - i'd certainly recommend having a photo of what you want available if anyone plans to do the same.

Cheers Tom - your photo from the National Certainly helped - to be fair the girl who runs TWS in Aberdeen was gutted when they got the spray wrong the 1st time - they went far too light with them .

I think they look great

When I resprayed my CSL's I was going to do them Shadow Chrome but the paint supplier talked me out of it as he said its really difficult to get an even colour apparently unless your experienced with a spray gun.

Cheers Darren - that was my concern as well - and was why Tom's photo was invaluable - even with that mine blend the silver on the rim whereas sammyz are silver on the spokes only
