TIS installation quick question!

Just trying to install TIS from the 3 disc and diagnostic cable package from eBay. Although looking at the installation guide it says on the TIS disk open WIN95>BMW>TIS then setup although when I choose what language I need it closes down and never goes through the installation procedure! I don't know if the file they have put on is corrupt but someone else must have had this problem? How do I get around it? Could really do with installing TIS so I can see the torque settings etc for Friday when I plan to do my rear brakes!

I've had problems running them (TIS/ETK) on Windows 7, even when running in XP compatibility mode.

A lot of the TIS/ETK stuff is available online, so you can try those in an emergency - specifically here for e85 torque settings.

Had exactly the same issue trying to install TIS on a PC running 64bit Windows and installing an XP virtual machine sorted it:

I have used the free VMware player to run TIS on Windows 7 64.
