Had these put on last weekend, 235F/265R/18, and have to say that these are the best set of tires I have ever owned! Being a little frugal, I was looking for good traction with a acceptable price point, not to mention being able to find the matching tire sizes that I wanted, and these filled all the boxes!
I was going to wait until I had about 500 miles on the tires (I have about 350) to give my opinion, but after a few days of full sun and this evening with full water (rain and standing water), I felt the urge to give my full assessment.
Dry weather: If it is warm and sticky (humidity), then these tires love it,,,,it seemed that the warmer it got the stickier they got. I am used to my old Pirelli's spinning through 3rd gear, and with these barely a chirp in second (better be hanging on at that point if you are a passenger)
Wet weather: Here is where I make a major distinction on tires. I can honestly say that this is the first set of tires that I have been real comfortable with in wet weather doing controlled slides using pedal modulation. There are no abrupt changes, and the balance is easy to define.
In essence, all I have to say is WOW!, Goodyear made a great tire for the Z4M!
And just a plug to my local Goodyear Vendor in McDonough, GA.... Good job!!
