Tire Pressure Monitor

Unfortunately you didn't complain at the time, little you can do now. Is it an Indy or a main dealer? If a main then complain, ask for the manager, settle for nothing less and talk through the issues calmly and how you feel. If Indy try the same. I would use an Indy tbh one with good references.

If they get shirty name and shame on here!

Finally where are you based as we might be able to advise you of a better place.

Ps. you can replace the cup holder in 1 min yourself :)

As your in the US you can legitimately carry a gun while you complain too, great country! Lol

Perhaps they didn't reset the tire pressure monitor. Every time the tires are changed or the pressure is adjusted you need to reset the computer so that it knows. Hopefully that is it. Refer to your manual as you can do that yourself.
I just bought a 2007 Z4 two weeks ago and read the entire manual and the tire reset is in many places in the manuals.
