It is almost time to replace my run flat tires. I have been thinking about buying standard tires for the better ride. However, since there isn't room for a spare, it would appear the emergency option is to use some kind of canned compressed air tire inflator products if I get a flat. However, I know these products also contain an ingredient that is meant to seal the leak. My concern regards the tire pressure sending unit inside the wheel/tire. I have heard these products can damage the tire pressure sending unit and then it needs to be replaced.
Does anyone have experience with using such a product and what it did (or did not do) to the tire pressure sending unit?
