Tinted Headlights!

Im sorry but i think youre very mistaken regarding the light transmission! There is absolutely no way that is letting 95% through! Window tint is window tint, no matter what marketing blurb they put on it. Ive seen plenty of modified cars with tints, and that looks like at least a 50-75% VLT film.

+1

http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/faq.htm Look at the "Is your tinted/coloured light protection road legal?" Bit. Im sure it said about he light being 95% but cant see it on there now  But just got back from the gym, and have to say i cannot see any difference at all, and honestly as i would be the first to say it was poo and rip it off  I have std lights by the way, as wanted to fit the HID kit after to see.

I really did this just as another option to people, for £80 well worth it, and yes still on the lookout for clear lights, as in the light you can see the orange a tad. As i said i will be at pod for anyone to nose at them :D

And to clarify this is NOT window tint! Nothing like it, not the same at all apart from tint on a roll. Adhesive is different, much thicker and much better. Well look at the FAQ on the link

And a few cars have tinted lights from std, or dark ones like the TT etc. And as long as it produces yellow or white colour light then its fine. I would not do it if it were illegal. Well i probably would but if you look at my plate, i have not adjusted that have i

£80!! :o
my clears mod cost me £150 in total.
have you got automatic searches setup on ebay? I always get something come up up at least once every two months.

Yeah i am quite willing to spend £80 on it if it improves it slightly. And got ebay sending me daily updates, but nothing on headlights since ive had the car. Well one set for £400, but can get them new for £600 so no chance ha!

£150? That aint bad!

Peddy that is cheap....but you did have some help keeping the budget down:D

It cost me £300 for a clear set of lights on ebay. Helped a lot by the fact he listed them seperately, so i gambled that half the competition would drop out as soon as i had bought the first one for a high price. £220 for the first and £80 for the second.

when i looked at the first image i didnt like the look, however with the lights on and the \\\M bumper looking sweet i think overall it looks quite good !

certainly looks a mean machine in that 3rd image.

They've gone, but you do't need to do it anyway, Chris had done it to try and mask the orange indicators on his pre-facelift lights.
