Surely your windscreen excess is around £100?jenniferlouise said:I’m moving closer to making this happen. Had a quote of £225 plus vat for a replacement including the top tint, and that’s without bothering the insurer. Reputable local business. Fit at home or I can take it in (or rather I could if ‘she’ wasn’t SORN until April) What do we think?
I wish I had a gold helmet.....I guarantee it would have made my life much more fun.jenniferlouise said:Maybe we need to drive in a fire helmet… (library pic, mine never had the gold visor)

Is there?jenniferlouise said:Hmm, having decided to take the plunge, turns out the £225 option supplier no longer has any! You lot must have got in quick!I’ve been offered an alternative from a second supplier, but more money, and low stock. I guess there’s not going to be 100’s of E89 screens sitting around waiting to match to cars any longer. I need to count my pennies again and determine if it’s really necessary, alternatively look at the insurance option…
Just renewed the insurance with Aviva (was with LV) through Confused.com for Feb at £193 (there’s a small benefit to getting old)
