Tinkering

You can't beat a good bit of car tinkering on a Christmas eve :)
Fitted my wind deflector and brackets today to the standard hoop covers.
Very easy little task which didn't take long at all, managed a blast around the block to see if all was good, and like the one I had in my 3 series vert it makes all the difference and a much nicer ride with the top down  :driving:

Next task on the list now is paint the calipers :)

Well done, but you should know whats coming next .... :worthless:

I know I know but i'm now sat on the sofa and it's raining out and going dark.
I should have took a pick when i'd done it.
Sorry :( :telloff:

Thought about painting my calipers over Christmas but worried it might be too cold for the paint to dry properly. Any opinions on this?

I agree looking at the daytime temp over the next few days, being only 2-7c

When it's warm the calipers dry quickly after cleaning, paint cures fast and you can get a second coat on the first by the time you've painted the last.
Exception is a warm garage or if your taking calipers and carriers off.

My plan would be get the heater on in the garage.
Take the car out for a blast, do some demon breaking,
Come back, whip wheels off then wire brush and paint :)

Good man don't forget no paint but a tiny dab of copper slip on pad rails to stop em sticking. cheers Baz
