A couple of years ago I was talking to a workmate who was into motorbikes so I invited him over to have a go on my two, Honda Blackbird and Aprilia RSVR so on the agreed morning I took them both out and filled them up then waited for him to arrive, no sign of him so I rang his mobile, no answer...at work the next day I asked what happened to which he replied, "the wife wanted me to do the garden, can we do it some other day ? " you can guess my reply. What goes on in some peoples heads ???
 
Yeah just left a message on his for sale ad for the guy that seemed interested,think you will like,I’ve not got the best of tempers so I might go have a look personally if I’ve got time this weekend
 
I notice he logged on at lunchtime today and hasn’t defended himself.

On a personal note more fool me for paying attention to his arrogant bleating about his sales thread.

Lesson well and truly learned.

IIRC he will consider a pert exchange for a 3.0L Zed. He also plans to leave the country soon, so it's not really clear why he wants a U.K. car at all, not that I am going to lose sleep over it.

Maybe it is just damage limtation Andy. At least he will recoup some cash out of the deal and then abandon the cheaper Zed.
