Time to swap out the winter tyres

Still got them on my van but they were off the TT 3 weeks ago as i had 1000miles Mway to do in 4 days + i had a buyer for the alloys without rubber :oops:
Unless you're very far north i can't see the need for them now so get the summer shoes on :thumbsup:
 
It snowed on my way down to London on Monday morning (about 7am) - but my Supersports still worked and I didn't crash & burn :poke:
 
Might as well keep them on until it's consistantly warmer and get your money's worth out of them.
 
You will kick yourself if you swap them out too early and something bad happens like ending up in a tree
 
Took mine off last week, had a long trip to do and I hate how it drives on them.
Typically it snowed a few days later. Wasn't a lot though
 
My cars have the same tyres on all year round, never felt the need to change to specific winter ones. It appears to be a relatively new thing that's appeared over the past few years - clever marketing by the tyre makers or valid safety thing? I'm not sure, but bike and two cars -one front W.D t'other RWD - have been driven all over winter with no tyre changes and no probs and the missus drives the other one more than me. Ok, the bike not so much used when it gets really cold but that's more to do with the fact is has no heater than anything to do with tyres.

There's shed loads of evidence to prove its not a hoax or marketing scam. :thumbsup:

Or ask anyone who's used them - once you've used them, they are must have's.

You'll understand when someone with them on stops in front of you and you can't stop and have nowhere to go. I see it every year on my morning commute. I even have them on my cheapo commuter punto because I wont go through winter without them.
