Time to say Hi

Thought it was about I introduced myself & showed off a few photos of my 3.0si. I've had the car for just over a year now & must admit i'm a little obsessed with it. I've done a few mods that include a set of BC racing BR series coilovers. Powerflow catback exhaust + akrapovic exhaust tips. GruppeM Ramair intake. Rear subframe bushes changed to Powerflex. Apex arc 8 18" wheels with Michelin pilot sport 4. I've also just bought a custom made all weather car cover. I know there are mixed views about car covers, but unfortunately my garage is a workshop and the local wildlife like reminding that they rule the sky's, so dump on it any chance they get.

Their are still a few more mods I'd like to do, but it will have to wait for a few months cos the spending is getting out of control Hope you all like the look of my Z4 & I'd just like to say that I find this forum a valuable source of information.

Welcome. I was going to say there are some serious $$ tied up in those mods but looks like you're well aware of it  .
Great result, that's a fantastic looking Zed  .
Must be the angle of some of the pics, those ARC-8's look like 19".

Welcome. Really like those mods, especially the ARC-8s against that grey (Stratus? Hard to tell with the colour of the light!).

GruppeM on a non-M is a new one on me. How does it sound?

Lovely looking car man! Perfect roads for it too
The photos where taken on the North Pennies between Barnard Castle & Stanhope. Great road for opening it up a bit, just got to watch out for suicidal sheep :o

Hi your right about the color. GruppeM do intakes for non M Z4. I don't hear much sound from under the bonnet because of the Powerflow exhaust, it sounds epic.

Glad you’re enjoying the Zed. Lovely looking car and a great colour. Long may the obsession continue.

Yes, there is something about these cars that just gets under your skin - especially a 3.0Si!

Yours looks great, and those mods sound fantastic.

Yep they are 18" 8.5 on the front & 9.5 on the rear
Welcome and a lovely looking car. Thinking about that wheel / tyre combo for my car and similar other mods. In the past have been down the track of almost spending as much on car “improvements” as the car itself but have been holding back on the Z4, maybe time to open the wallet.

hi the wheel & tyre combo really suits the Z4. I’m lucky that I can set a yearly budget for the mods I intend to do. I hope you get the opportunity to style your car the way you’d like it to look.

Thanks, retirement impacts the budget but not the desire haha but coming into summer here I think it’s time to get on with it. Enjoy your car. :driving:
