I don't think there's any chance Greece will leave. Politicians don't normally lose elections when the economy is improving but when it's going the other way.....

I have a nagging suspicion that that's what Syriza is heading towards as all they seem to have done so far is make enough vague statements to buy themselves time to get their pieces in placemr wilks said:
They're not making any real efforts to make changes hoping to force the EU to give them what they want or risk Grexit. If that works they'll be happy but, in reality, the EU can't be seen to be held to ransom or it'll open the floodgates, so when Syriza don't get what they want and negotiations break down, they'll tell the Greek people that it was all Brussels' fault, we don't want to leave the EU/Euro but they're giving us no choice... a fairly easy sell in a country that has fallen out of love with the Eurocrats
On the other hand, that could all be bollox and, when it comes to the big decision, Syriza will blink first and back down - if they do, it'll be a huge loss of face as they will have to abandon the platform that got them elected
Raise a few euros & lose a whole lot more
