I rang National tyres regarding a BOGOF ad yep you got it my sizes were not in that deal. They gave me a price for Avon ZZ4 225/40/18 front at £300 pr and 255/35/18 rear at £350 pr. If all 4 done £600 all in, not bad. Gave another place a ring same tyres rears £252 pr and £216 pr fronts. Being fitted this week. Not bad.

I got 4 of these for around 500 fitted and balanced

All fitted yesterday by MJB Redruth Avon ZZ5 on rear and ZV5 on front
£452 all in and tracking checked, good service highly recomend them.
What a difference, quiet, better ride and grips well a bit like a new girl friend.

Why have you fitted two different sets of tyres front & back? Was this at the suggestion from your tyre supplier :?

The ZZ5 is Avon's high-performance one, the ZV5 is just a touring one.

ZZ5 are on back order so rather than wait for duno how long I felt the reviews and Avon write ups etc were good enough to go with them, also the supplier. They are defo better than those run flats I was trying to wear out.

No problem, I understand the reasoning now.

I just thought it would be wiser to stick to the same tyre (or performance level) on all 4 wheels rather than mix high performance and touring tyres.
