Time for new alloys and tyres

As my tyres are close to needing to be changed, I thought it would be a good time to look into some new alloys. Very keen on getting twin spoke m alloys or csl s. Bit confused on sizing. Sure I have 18" x 8J front and a 18" x 8.5J. I've seen some m Twin spoke Alloys
8" x 18" front and 9J x 18" rear would these be a straight swap? Also would like some advice on where people have been getting them from either the csls or twins from? Thanks in advance.
 
Which wheels have you got now?

By 'twin spoke' I assume you mean MV2s? Just be careful when buying any second hand. Many sets for sale are either cheap replicas or in 5 series fittment so they wont fit the zed.

Proper MV2s in Z4/3 series fittment should be 8j fronts and 8.5j rears. They look geat :thumbsup:
 
when you say they wont fit properly is that due to the offset being incorrect? could that be fixed with spacers
 
///M wheels (double spokes) will fit, straight swap. They will stick out a little more at the rear, as they are a lower offset. Plenty of members have done the swap without any issues.

Replica CSLs are a plenty, coming in 18" and 19" variants. There's a thread on here about where to get them from.... :thumbsup:
