Seriously, Z4 owners, MX5 owners, even people who drive something French, it is time to stand up for what you believe in and topple the ruling elite.

The Queen's speech today contained a bill allowing parents who earn up to £150,000 EACH to receive a handout of up to £2,000 per child to help with the cost of child care.

So Mr and Mrs Smith jolly along on £300k, enjoying £6k from the taxpayer towards the cost of having Gemma, Chloe and Tristan looked after by the local nanny.

Meanwhile, Mr and Mrs Jones are earning maybe a JOINT salary of £25k. They're struggling to afford the rent, really struggling to afford their utility bills, and can no way afford to have the child they'd love to have. I'm sure however that they sleep soundly at night knowing that their income tax is helping the Smiths to get by.

This is so wrong.

Exactly - child benefit and now this new proposal to help parents with child care costs.....paid for with my taxes...and I can't have kids!

Thats prejudice against the unborn child!

Hows about some debt relief for me, paid for by child bearing parents taxes?

Agree, and another thing! Don't mean to hijack your thread but I found myself thinking isn't the whole queens speech thing outdated and cringeworthy! I'm not buying this monarchy stuff any more personally. Knighthoods and the like too total outdated rubbish and needs down sizing! Rant over
