This was / is the car that i fell for ! The only thing its missing really is the desirable p1 seats! but i can add those aftermarket. Its roughly 8k overpriced but its starting to come down.

Go for it Byron. I love the look of these.
I know owners who say they've had issues with their cars, but I still would own one if I won the Lottery.

If u can get it at the right price for you, then why not.
Colour is great too

they have issues because owners like to create fireballs by revving the nuts off them at a stand still.

the panels corrode due to a moisture issue at painting

the engines need to be warmed up

the door hinges crack

and the windscreens crack for no reason LOL.

General fit and finish issues,

it will definitely need to be pampered, am i worried.... yes i am, i cant lie. This is a huge investment and marketing tool for us it needs to work.

Not much to worry about with them then

Still think it looks amazing.

its a scary prospect for sure.

Beautiful, beautiful car Byron. If the cost (finance) is worrying, make sure that you can 'step back' and appraise everything that owning this car will involve. If that involves putting off your dream for another year, then be sensible. Are your fears shared by your wife, is it the right time for the business? To say you deserve it, is an easy way to say I am buying it. You have been through a lot and what you 'deserve' is peace of mind, a successful business and people who love you more than anyone else. If you have considered everything and the answer is YES then what are you waiting for. Go for it man. :)

We are here for a good time not a long time, go for it.

If slightly unsure go for the new one and keep the Zed as a spare. Solves all the doubts :D

Solid post, means alot that does tbh as this is a huge deal for me, in my world this is mega money but for some its nothing , definitely a scary thing to be doing..... im being very careful , taking my time and making sure the deal is RIGHT at the right time. if doesn't feel right or the number don't add up, i wont pull the trigger. However....... i'm pretty much dead set on this, my mind is made and im going for it! i will keep you all posted as this unfolds. Wifey is super supportive as isa my mom ( whos a massive business influence for me) its important to note this car will be HEAVILY helping to move us into the supercar market, weve achieved the high end and now have the warranty work contract for gtechniq/porsche dealers in the midlands. This car will help massively to get us to the next level, it just need the right car and the right deal.

Will a new government and chancellor have any effect on your business and the decision as to what car and when?

We were thinking of moving house but have decided to wait and see what the budget brings before making any decisions

id be very upset to not be able to make my move due to a change in laws...... but it has of course crossed my mind, id also like to see a damn drop in APRs

All great advice. However one thing life has taught me; time waits for nobody and we can’t buy one second of time!

If you are happy with your deal, go for it. Don’t have regrets. Live your life; this is not a practice!

i had stage 3 cancer just a few years ago.... it was a VERY close call, my throat and stomach was removed and i live in fear that its going to come back with every single slight ache i have.... im getting the car because its something i want to do, its going to be GREAT for business and our future plans , is it risky buying something like a 600LT ... YUP but.... im HEAVILY researching and im also researching the remedies if things to tits up.    Most of all im extremely grateful to be here and able to work for this. i didnt think id see 40.

ill keep this updated with more information as this continues to unfold.

How much would you spend on advertising to get the you tube hits and exposure to the detailing and vinyl wrap world that the McLaren will bring plus the enjoyment of having the car taking into account the costs of ownership ?? Could you use it as an advertising campaign , enjoy it , and then sell it on without losing any money . If you can then go for it and take me out for a spin as I`m not that far away from you :D

I think the McLaren is a good shout, from both an ownership and business perspective. My only real concerns would be, somewhat obviously, reliability and depreciation.

A good warranty would be essential! As for the financials, no idea how the LT models do but I suppose if it brings in higher-end clients then it can be offset to a certain extent.

Good luck with it, wil be great to see what you end up with 8)

Go for it mate. If it makes you happy, it's worth it :) I'm not an expert by any means in leasing but if for whatever reason circumstances change and it's not working out anymore, I'm sure you can sell it back to the dealership or whatever? You may have to put a bit more in on top to cover it, but money comes and goes, life goes on and at the very least you can say you had a Mclaren for a bit!

I'll make sure you follow your IG account off my car account too

Saw a McClaren in our local Sainsburys yesterday, to be honest heard it before I saw it. Sounded great but didn't present well in Black to be honest.

Go for it. As a good friend of mine once said, we are here for a good time not a long time.

PS If you get it and just happen to be in the Northeast........

Is there anything they don't sell?

Apparently Red Bull are making 50 £6,000,000 road cars. If Sainsbury's sell them, just think of the Nectar points! :)
