Time for a change 2

cheers guys :) I'm hopeful I can sort something out, but once you reach 60 you always wonder if there's an agenda to push you out. I'll go kicking and screaming though!

I retired 3 years ago when I was 60 - was really worried about the psychological adjustment I would need to make to come to terms with not working - I had worked for nearly forty years in the Prison Service changing direction in what I did several times until eventual retirement - I do miss the cameraderie but not the politics - I now have time to do all the things I wanted to and enjoy life without stress or responsibility. If you do " retire " then see it as a new start .

Blimey all this sounds corny but it is true - I personally intend to continue to behave as disgracefully as ever until I snuff it.

gov, to be honest I am not going to worry, as you say thers life after work :) But it would likely mean the Z4 would have to go, :( my pension won't really stretch to running an 'M'. might have to get a job as a 'lollypop man' to keep it on the road

Hope u get sorted out with your job,John...and u dont have to sell the Z4 MR :(

Fingers crossed for u,indeed, mate. Happening at our work too, unfortunately

Likewise mate - hope it all works out for you - it must be a worrying time both for you and your family.

Beedub, a quick glance at the Beedub fleet shows just how hard times are for you threadbare capitalists

Seriously, you work very hard for what you've got and the support is very welcome :)

Sorry to hear about the job :(

Would be a shame to be forced to sell the car, rather than out of choice.

Ditto....lets hope it doesnt come to that, mate.
You would be dearly missed,John
