Time for a change 2

Well, I've finally decided it's time to replace the Z4M. Actually I can't replace it unless I buy a 911 or AMV8 so I'm not going to try :(

So I intend to replace both my cars with one 'sensible' car that i can use for work rather than keep paying two lots of tax and insurance, warranty on the 'M' etc.

I'll get an advert sorted this week on Pistonheads and on here, whoever buys my car will be getting a sensational piece of engineering that will be the best car I have ever owned. It's been incredibly reliable and the extended warranty has never been used. I really hope it goes to a good home, someone who will love it as much as I have :)

Hardest decision I've ever had selling a car.

I want this, as does Siftah - anyone want a blue or red coupe?

Having tried one, I thought you said the Z4M was 'unnecessary'?! :P Would be a corking example to buy though. If your blue coupe was a manual, I'd be tempted to do some sums...

:o we loosing the 'routemaster'

well not quite! The replacement will still have two seats, removable roof and six cylinders. Might struggle to set a good pace at the front though!

The red one is manual!

Yeah but it's red.....and an SE. Nice car but not for me Mr Two Coupes. Perhaps John would take one in p/x?!

I've phoned Siftah to see if he's interested but no reply yet - all px offers from John S considered!

I've just noticed a missed call from you and instantly realised why you were phoning!

SammyZ: If it was January I'd be knocking on your door with a wodge of cash in hand, but I've just bought another car for the winter and sort of comitted to the associated financial plan.

Gutted!

If you have any problems selling it or change your mind, I'll pretty much commit to buying it from you in January and give you a hefty deposit now. Complete no-brainer for me, perfect spec, meticulously looked after car. :)

*EDIT* And I guess I'll just have to fight Tony to the death for it. Pistols at dawn old chap?

Well, I'm not expecting it to be easy to sell having seen the nice cars that just haven't sold. I haven't worked out a price but 06 cars with good specs, low mileage etc are going for under 15K :(

Still, I'm not in a desperate hurry to sell so it might still be around at Christmas! Main problem is storage/insurance on a car I'm no longer using. I'd love the car to go to someone on the forum.

so similarly impractical & slower.

ditch the warranty instead. think im going to..

Andy you're not wrong :) I use a car alot for work so I hope to use the new Z4 enough to help compensate for not having the 'M'. If I only needed it for commuting then I'd have kept the 'M'.

Just hope it goes to a good home!

So you will still be around then?!
I'm sure it will go to a good home, you caused quite a commotion last night :)

Yes I'm staying with a Z4.

Ordered a 23i M sport. There's some grest deals at present on the last of the 6 cylinder engined cars. Decent spec with heated seats and nav. So I can still attend our meets, I don't intend to be a bit 'standoffish' like some of those other E89 owners :poke:
