I had my recall done last December for camshaft bolts replacement as there were reports of loosening or breaking, since I've had the car back my tickover revs have gone from dead on 800 down to 600rpm,it runs well and doesn't shake whilst idling, just wondered if I shoukd be concerned?
2010 E89 14,000 miles on clock.

Thank you.

It might help if you specified which model you have, i.e. 23i, 30i, 35i, etc.

If you have the N52 engine 600rpm sounds about right based on the two E86s and 3 Series I've had with that engine.

My N52 23i ticks over at 600rpm.
Cold engine fast idle is about 1200 then drops to 800 after about 30 seconds.
Minute or 2 later drops to 600rpm, then i start driving.

6 pots are set to idle at 600.
My M54 is set to idle at 750rpm. And it does...almost exactly (according to live data on my scanner).
Both N20s idled at 800rpm. Again, checked on live data.
N54 idled at 750.
B58 same.

The only recent car which has ticked over at 600rpm, was an old R56 Mini with the horrible Peugeot engine. But that was completely fecked and nearly stalled every time you went to pull away. But that has been replaced by a 1.2 Polo which ticks over at..........go on, have a guess!
I know.....I need another hobby! ;)

In my head, the 6 pots I've had sit just past the 500 mark on the tacho (M50, M57, N52, N57) and not as high as 750. It's always possible I've not been paying the slightest bit of attention and I'm suffering from delusions of competence!

TBH it's only from hours sitting watching the scanner doing live data that I noticed. It's quite hypnotic (?) watching the figures constantly flickering around the 750 mark.
I definitely need another hobby.
