Ticking Passenger Speaker

Hi all - First frost this morning and the car all seemed fine, until halfway to work. The top speaker behind the passenger seat is TICKING all the time. It doesnt matter if the stereo is switched on or not, its just there as soon as the key is in position one or further.
Any ideas guys?? Thought Id post before I start striping it down Cheers
