I have a ticking sound coming from the engine. It sounds like a lifter to me. It does it at idle and low RPM. I do most of my driving around town. I have found that If I run the car out on the highway, the noise will be gone for a couple days, but will come back. I called the dealer and they said I wasnt driving the car hard enough and to keep the RPM up higher while driving around town. This doesnt sound right to me, but it does work to keep the noise away. Has anybody else run into this? The car is an 08 3.0i w/5,000 miles.
