Tickets at last

After not getting any tickets in any of the official Olympic ticketing rounds, we managed to get a pair of tickets via the daily re-allocation for the athletics tomorrow evening

I think it was just by luck that I checked the ticketing website just after 6:00 this evening and saw that athletic tickets had been made available, I then had an anxious 15min wait whilst the website checked to confirm availability of my selected tickets, I was expecting the system to come back and tell me there were no tickets available like all the other times I tried, but to my complete surprise I got confirmation of availability and had to make a quick decision to spend what is rather a lot of money for an evening out. You only live once though and I'll worry about the VISA bill next month :wink:

Well done, i have a friend trying too, but he has no commitment, at 8am when they appears at £300 he rang to ask if it was too much :roll: i said he was a fool to wait... By the time he got off the phone they were gone!

I went to the 100m final on sunday... Was amazing!

There are people selling tickets all over stratford for nearly all the events I got offered gbr women's hockey earlier 2 tickets £150 each

My seats werent that good! I actually ran down before the race to take some pics!! But atleast i was on the right side of the track!

I would go early security took me 3 hours on the opening ceremony and about 1.5 hours on Sunday.

I was told not to bring an SLR camera too - but i did see some people who managed to smuggle them in.
