Could be mis-fueling.
Lots of possible causes but I've seen similar symptoms from duff sensor readings due to vaccum leaks or dead maf.

Whilst that's not entirely relevant, it is worth checking the mat isn't catching the pedal, or any grit etc is jamming it slightly.
Get the simple stuff out of the way first.
