I'm experiencing the dreaded throttle hesitation from idle. It almost seems to misfire before revving up. It feels quite flat until about 1500RPM and then the power seems to delivery properly throughout the rev range. This prevents me from heal/toeing and can even let the car bog down if not careful when pulling away.
I've done lots of reading and the most likely culprit is the idle control valve, but I don't want to spend hours taking things apart to get to it as I'm not really an expert mechanic! Has anyone else experienced this and managed to cure it? I read out the OBD2 codes and there were no faults stored either.
