Throttle hesitation

Hi guys and gals.
My 03 2.5i sport has 84k on the clock now. I've driven it for 3 days since getting alignment replacing belts, pcv valve, cleaning icv valve, plugs and coils, oil level sensor and oil change and at speeds now on highway from 65-80 there seems to be a hesitation. Looked like at around 4k rpm or so. It almost feels like it has massive wind resistance almost slowing down 5mph while pressing further on the gas before it seems to want to go. I just noticed this today while sport button was on but didn't have dtc off. No codes thrown yet. Any ideas?

Noticed if the ground is undulating I get it occasionally , but not much if DTC is on. This is usually under acceleration though not cruising. Don't know if you're experiencing the same, as presume mine is just me noticing stability poking its nose in.

Mine was happening when I was accelerating to pass to that I noticed foot was going down and rpm need stayin at 3-4k not moving up

Is it an auto or manual ? I occasionally get some hesitation when I apply the gas in my auto, but couldn't pin it down to a specific action / RPM / speed - though I will pay more attention the next time it happens.

Same, which is why I'll have to say sorry to OP as I have no idea, really random in mine.

It's an auto and i was in sport shift in sport mode at the time. Didnt try down shifting just was simply a gradual, non stomping to the pedal. I think it did it 4 times on the way in to work. Was just really weird that its the first I noticed it. I wasn't sure if it might be a vac leak with replacing the pcv and hoses. I'll look more under hood when I get home tonight but as of yet still no codes thrown.

Weren't there a few threads on this from others with the the problem being with the MAF sensor, either needed cleaning or replacing?

I thought I did see that some where. But when I had it all pulled apart doing the icv and pcv I inspected the disa and maf to the eye maf looked good and disa didn't have issues either

I had similar problems with my 3.0i although mine was throwing some intermittent codes.

Replaced the knock sensors - seemed to help for a while then I got some Vanos errors so I replaced the 2x Vanos solenoids on the front of the engine and it has never ran better - it seems to perform better all round :)
