Well that's it....

I bought my beloved Zed on 27th October 2012. 1219 Days, (29,256 hours) later and I drove away from Derby without it :(

It's been an absolute blast, and being a part of easily the best owners forum I've ever seen has certainly been a pleasure. I'll stick around a bit and probably start a thread in "other marques" to show the new motor and the progress (got a few things I plan with it).

So yeah, cheers all. I'll leave you with probably my favourite shot of me and the zed.

Commiserations on the zed going and congratulations on the new purchase, whatever that maybe

There will be a time when the the forum will have more members that don't have Z4, than do :)

Hi Ste, zeds are great looking cars that are fun to drive but nothing lasts forever-hope your new car is as liked as the old one!

My new car is a completely different kind of motoring, but much fun nonetheless. Packed with toys, from upgraded headunits with DAB, satnav, Bluetooth etc, plenty of subtle modifications to style it exactly how I want, and a smooth and refined drive.

Anyone know where I can get a CD that just plays the sound of the Z4 at full chat? :D

Always liked that photo, you are rightly sorry to see it go but there's a time when a person needs to move on. Good luck with the new motor.

Sad.
(pity you couldn't store it away in a barn for 30 years and drag it out when your old like me).
Times move on, enjoy your new adventure.

Very similar length of ownership as me in my coupe 1369 days (32,856 hours). But I went from Scirocco (mk2) to Z4 :D

I'm sure you will enjoy it..
