Threatening T3sco...

Tesco are thieving scumbags.... Shop elsewhere,in your local high street is always best and keep a small business from going under.Tesco doesnt give a s**t and will ruin a high street with one swoop of there massive corporate foot..

Tesco will always try and stick the wet willy into the unwary, and then make you feel like a s**t when you query there policies..

Vote with your feet and never enter the land of the unwashed and pouting chavs dressed in onesies...Have pride and go somewhere where the food taste good and they are not trying to treat you as a dullard..

That is all.........

My view is i treat T3sco with the same contempt they treat their customers 8)
Not even for fuel in my transit

Wow...lot of hate here for Tesco. :scratchhead:
We have our weekly shop delivered from Sainsburys or Ocado but I use Tesco Express a few times a week and never had a problem.
Get 90% of my fuel from them as well.

Hate t3sco as well but go there for the 99 momentum petrol. Then drive to Sainsburys for my food shopping. It does depend on location. I would never use my local Asda as its full of tracksuit clad mutants but always use the Asda in other places.

Don't have much of a choice here. Our local council seem to like Tesco since it's the only supermarket they grant planning permission to. Need to drive 30 miles to get to one of the other big names which is an Asda and is a worse experience if you ask me.

I use the click and collect service. In general, supermarkets are not my idea of fun.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Which is exactly why they should be boycotted... They back hand the councils to get permission for supermarkets in places that shouldn't be allowed. Then bung people to knock back permission for any other supermarket application.
Then, just to be sure they buy up any derelict land that any competitor may be interested in, so they "seal " the sales area just for themselves .

Meanwhile you local high street butcher/greencrocer/ bakery goes out of business to be replaced by kebab shops and pizza parlours !

Tesco officials should be shot at dawn for damage they have done to britains shops and communities .

Technically this isnt correct, i work with national account manager whose job it is to go around supermarkets and check the promotional activity (and take photo's) for our products on the retailers shelves, to ensure they are placing them correctly as we have offered the discount for.

Very often we would give an place in store discount (so more visible isle end) and they dont place the products there correctly and we offer proof with pictures and video's.

i'm an asda fan. i find the staff cheerful and helpful, at tesco they tend to be rather grumpy.

I tend to scavenge for sandwiches from the skip at my local BMW dealers.....the prices they charge must mean the food they chuck out is top quality :fuelfire:

Thanks i shall consider myself as one of the great unwashed but i know what you mean

we do our main grocery shopping at Asda with other items from a newly opened Aldi which has some great products and is pretty cheap.Avoid Tesco like the plague, dreadful place, only out to rip you off with terrible food and not that good prices.Where they do score is they get you through the tills quicker than others.

My thoughts? Shop elsewhere, I have had much better service at morrissons, sainsburys, waitrose, and aldi. I have never been able to understand why crapco do so well.

you're very lucky to get decent service in aldi!

we now use aldi and morrisons after tesco put a huge speedhump at the entrance meaning my z4 couldn't get over it, but the checkout workers in aldi are all miserable and chuck the food down at 1 million miles per hour, whilst the people shopping in there are what seem to be the down and outs of this world.

it's a very strange place to be in.

Wow I hadn't realised people had such strong views about supermarkets. I shop at Sainsburys as its the nearest place to me and I drive past it to work. If it was any of these other places I would consider. I tend to HATE supermarket shopping in general more due to the fact I live on the 2nd floor (no lift) and loathe lugging the bags up

I just don't get the hate for Tesco's.
At some time or other have used all the supermarkets and can't say the service from anyone of them was any better or worse than Tescos.
And to suggest that Tescos is the shop of choice for the less privileged so is to be avoided just reeks of Snobbery.
Shame on you.

Indeed. I didn't understand the argument about the quality of food either.

Unless they all buy tesco value bits and expect it to be the same as waitrose blumenthal stuff.

I think the word quality usually refers more to fresh fruit, veg, fish etc. I shop at Tesco and it's fine. Waitrose is a much nicer experience but I can't justify the 15% or so extra it costs to shop there. I'm sure Kryton loves the fact that losers like me can't justify the price increase so it keeps things more elite for those that can. :P
